The Employee Benefits Unit provides services to the University community for all employment benefits.  Specialized services include enrolling new employees in benefits plans, administering retirement benefits, processing insurance enrollments (medical, dental, life, long and short term disability), COBRA, coordinating the return to work program, serving as liaison for unemployment claims and advising on other selected optional benefits.  Services include coordinating, processing and problem resolution.

This team provides services to the University community in employment, advertising, classification and compensation.  This includes coordinating, monitoring and providing strategies for recruitment, search procedures, position classification, and organizational management. The Employment Team assists administrators with managing the University's and State's compensation programs, reviews classification of employee positions, and provides support in the progressive discipline procedures. Services to employees include career development advisement, and transitional services.
