Fiscal and Administrative Institute for Training (FAIT)

The FAIT program is designed to further your understanding of fiscal and administrative policies and procedures, and provide you with an opportunity to ask questions, practice on common procedures, and give your feedback to department administrators on “what works” and “what doesn’t” in relation to the fiscal and administrative tasks you complete regularly. This feedback will be used to re-engineer policies, procedures, and processes to help you do your job more efficiently and to help make your work-life a bit easier.

Participating in the FAIT program also enables you to provide a great service to the University. You will be helping the University be compliant with Federal and State regulations; many of which, if not followed correctly, could result in significant fines to the University of Connecticut. Certainly, not one of us wants to make the mistake that may result in a fine to the University. This is why your participation in the FAIT program is so important.
