It is the responsibility of the student to adhere to the fee bill and enrollment deadlines set forth by the offices of the Bursar and the Registrar. Tuition benefit administrative deadlines outlined in this web-site have been put in place by Human Resources to provide time for processing and approval of employee tuition benefit applications as per collective bargaining agreements, prior to submission to the Bursar’s, or other office responsible for applying waivers or processing reimbursements. Please contact the Bursar and/or the Registrar’s offices for enrollment and fee bill questions.
Please read the following regarding possible Tax implications of your tuition waiver(s):
If the total amount of your tuition waivers exceeds $5,250 during the tax year, you must generally pay tax on the amount over $5,250. Payroll will include in your wages (Form W-2, box 1) the amount that you must include in income for this fringe benefit.
