UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
The Alternate Work Arrangements Policy describes and establishes guidelines for alternate work arrangements for exempt managerial and confidential employees at the University of Connecticut, in accordance with relevant state statute and in keeping with university practices pertaining to professional staff who are members of collective bargaining units. This policy is designed to achieve the following goals: (1) Increase worker efficiency and productivity; (2) reduce travel time.
In order to support the mutual benefits of flexible work environments, the university has implemented this voluntary Alternative Work Arrangement program for exempt managerial and confidential employees.
